EFI-212 indicates the o2 sensor wiring is open, or the o2 sensor itself is faulty (replace o2 sensor). Rarely, it could be a problem with the LH computer itself though that has its own code: EFI-112.

How do i reset or find code for check engine light where is the the computer connection inside car
ODBC-2 code reader is used to read the codes and reset the codes once read. This web site will help you troubleshoot the codes http://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes . The reader can be purchased for usually less than paying a auto mechanic to read the codes and perform the reset. The plug to read the codes is usually under the driver side dash. If you lay down on the ground you will see it. ODBC-2 reader are sold at every auto parts store and are easy to use.

Radio reading off i did all the steps for code to come back but still reads off
You will need to see the dealer on this, you may have the wrong code or the radio is locked due to repeated entry of incorrect code.

1997 Venture ABS light is on but has no code reading
Not all OBD-2 scanners are created equal. Most only read power-train (engine/transmission) codes and are not capable of reading ABS codes. Some scanners even have a specific button you have to press to get ABS codes. Try a different scanner. I know places like Auto Zone will scan codes for free but not every store has the same reader. The AZ nearest to me has the ABS capable scanner while the one on the other side of town can't read ABS codes.

How to get codes from a 1995 jag
The 1995 Jaguar XJ6 is OBDII compliant. You can read engine codes using an aftermarket code reader. You may have to call it a 1996 in order for the tool to read the codes. What you can not read without Jaguar's own reader is the ABS codes. Good luck!

i think that it is a code in the tcm otherwise transmission problem such as speed sen or input out sensors for trans or just to tell you to check transmission codes for this your scanner cant read you might have to go to dealer to read trans codes

Check engine light will not go off
You have an error code activated. You can buy a code read which will also turn off the code or take it to a repair shop that will read the code and tell you what needs to be done to fix it. Most shops charge to read the code I belive that AMMCO advertises that they will read the code for free. Most dealers will chare about $30 to $50 to read the code. Something as simple as a bad gas cap could cause the light to come on.

you are wasteing your time trying to read codes with a weekend mechanic code reader ,i have one and on an american built vehicle for the american market i can read codes and the emmision test ,but a ??? japanese vehicle will not have this facility as the dealers complain about general garages doing their work ,end of story begining of encrypted software ,you are only lucky that the law states in america that the vehicle must be read via the OBDII for teh emmisions test here in europe its done with a probe in the exhaust ,so your Creader or whatever will not even read our cars ,if your lucky you can read the chassis number buts thats it ,and plug a american style code reader into the new cars then it shuts down the immobilisor if you try to read the codes
