I have a 1992 Corvette, I have "SYS" flashing where my miles per gallon reading was on my dash but not all of the time. I drive my Corvette allmost everyday to work about 75 miles round trip and the light comes on about once every 5 starts or so, and the light above the A/C buttons flashes for about 5 minuets after all starts then stays a stedy green after that.. I hooked up a DTC code reader it flashed "SES" code 12 but the LTPS and the LTPWS stayed on until I turned of the ignition then neither came on after that, but after removing the DTC code reader I started the car and it was like the battery was almost dead it would bearly crank over.

There is a way to retrive the diagnostic codes in the A/C system by holding 2 buttons at the same time on the panel. I did this many years ago to solve a problem on my '92 Roadster. I got the info from corvetteforum.com Post your problem at corvetteforum.com. There are many experts there that will help.
SOURCE: Battery light stays on
Many possibilities but the alternator is a good place to start, if its plug is loose, then the green relay inside the center console just to the left and slightly in front of the emergency brake will be clicking in connecting and disconnecting the battery( one loud click per time). It will need replacing or simply disconnecting works for the short budget.

try making sure the battery cable and alternator is grounded
SOURCE: the green light keep flashing and it dont stay on
The green light on the dash flashes when the lights are off or if you have just the day time running lights on. If your lights are on the light should go out. or if a head lamp is out it may stay on

Check to see if there is a headlight relay and check all ground circuits to the lighting system. They are both powered from the same circuit.
