I have a 1992 ford crown victoria it has 107,000 miles. most times i come to a stop the voltage pin goes a little crazy, it feels like cars about to stall but doesn't. once i start driving its fine. once in a great while it does stall. i was told battery and alternator are good. also the voltage pin is in the "normal" area, but its really close to the edge or the top of the gauge. any help would be apprieciated....brian

yes when the voltage pin moves it does stay in the normal zone
I have the exact same problem. I have a 1992 Crown Victoria LX with 102,500 miles on it.
Mr. Kane did you get the problem fixed? If so was it the altenator or something else.
when you say crazy... you mean it drops and raises but not above what is acceptable ?
