My car is hard to start all the time

I have a 91 chrysler new yorker 5th avenue. my car is hard to start after about a half hour of trying it will start. and on the road i have to play with the gas peddle to get upto speed if i push on it to much it sounds like its flooding i hear popping sounds.

could it be fuel pump or knock sensor or something else?
my code key on/off methode gives me 55 so no codes loged!!

Could be the fuel pump a bad coil or pick up coil located under the cap and rotor fuel pressure should be at least 35psi.

Camshaft position sensor? Good call but not close. The crankshaft position sensor.This is located on top of the transmission bell housing.

Spark plug wiring diagram

with the crank facing the radiator.......cylinders 1,3,5 on the left....cylinders 2,4,6 on the right......firing order is 1,2,3,4,5,6...

with the crank on the passenger side.....cylinders 1,3,5 or on the firewall.....cylinders 2,4,6 or next to the radiator...firing order is 1,2,3,4,5,6..... numbers should be on the ignition coil....good luck
