Why wont my rear speakers work on 2004 chevy trailblazer

Do you have rear radio controls? Are they turned on? If they are not turned on the rear speaker are cut off.

did you use a wiring harness? or did you cut the plug off the car

They are 6.5 inch, but may require an adapter because they are slightly over sized. BUT, if BOTH rear speakers quit working, that is probably a problem in the RADIO, not the speakers!

I have a 06 Z71 and it did the same thing so more than likely your just going to have to buy a new cd player. I would recommend going with an aftermarket cd player because you probably going to spend just as much on another stock unit.

check your fader option...if that fails, you might have loose wires or need to replace them.

if you have installed a new cd player in there then the propblem could be that your speaker wires and either touching each other or grounding them selfs out.. pull of the cd player and check to make sure all the speaker wires are covered properly and no bare wires are exposed.. if you still have a factory cd player in it then you will probably need to take it to a dealership to have it checked out..

2004 Chevy Trailblazer radio won't eject CD. Push the eject button and the thing just clicks and says "check CD" . Tried bulletin 04--8-44-020C (fuse removal and reinstall) didn't work. Any other suggestions before going to dealer?
