Need to replace the radio/cd player in my 2001 elantra

The player that came with the car changes to CD mode when the radio is on. It also comes up with an Err 2 message. I have bought another Hyundai radio/cd player, and need to know how to remove the old one from the dash and install the new one. I understand that the wires are all color coded, so that shouldn't be a problem, I just don't know how to remove the old player.

On the hyundai you will usaually see four small holes two either side of the radio unit itself. if you take 4 allen keys/hex keys and insert all at the same time making sure to keep them very straight the stereo unit shuld then be free to pull out. you will then find that it has a universal plug on the back of it and you should be able to plug and play with that. if wrong size/type of plug then buy a convertor from motor discount store.

Car radio cd player error 43

The motor that spins the disk no longer works, disassemble the cd player and replace your cd motor with a new one. Radio shack has them, but I suggest replacing your player with an aftermarket unit like sony, kenwood, audiovox, or any other high quality cd players.

I have a cd stuck in my cd player.. any tips for

Try turning the radio off and then disconnect the battery for 1 min. After reconnecting the battery, turn the radio on and this might reset the radio and the CD may come out. Good luck and hope this helps and just make sure the radio is off or the radio may ask for a radio code to have it functional again.

I have a 2002 Hyundai Elantra, I changed the battery , now I need the reset code for the CD player HM 5064. I cannot find my manual. Can anybody help?

Normally the Audio (Radio CODE) is noted in the owner's manual. If you don't have it, you must contact Hyundai Motor America and give them the Vehicle VIN number... they may then (possibly) be able to give you the CODE.

RADIO/CD INNOPERATIVE.

There is nothing in that deck u can repair or even get parts for, call the Ford dealer and get the phone number of the factory authorized radio repair center near u, send the unit out yourself, don't go through the dealer they will take the bill from the repair center and double it.
