sounds like the Radio fuse blew out, u will need to find the cuase of the short circuit or when u install the new fuse it to will blow. Check the fuse for the power amp and check that it's plugged in this is inside the trunk if all is good the on/off switch I know it turns on but the potentiometer part may be broken inside this part deals with the volume control
If you know how, pull the radio and see if it has a seperate fuse on the back, not sure if yours has it or not, some do. My radio had to be replaced where the logic board inside the radio went band and would not turn off or on, gd luck with it hope this helped
Sounds like a main fuse has blown. Might be an inline type, a pin type or a fuse link. Usually near the positive post on the battery or under hood
fuse box.
If batteryis in good shape meaning 12 volts or higher,u need to check battery ground for cleaness & tightness @ body mounting . Also check under carriage body to engine ground. Hope this helpful
Check your radio fuse.. if it is ok, and the radio does turn on and you have no sound, chances are you either popped your "amp" fuse or worse, popped your factory amp.. let me know what exactly is or isn't working right now.. but make sure you check your fuses...
