SOURCE: Automatic Up for power window not working

there are relays that keep power to the window motor until it is all the way up..it sounds like there is a problem with that relay or the switch itself
hope this helps.....Good luck!

SOURCE: My 2000 Honda Odyssey minivan's

I had a 2002 Odyssey with the same problem. I cleaned around the micro switch at the bottom rear of the door and checked the door roller bracket screws. The screws were loose so I tightened them and also sprayed the switch with electrical contact cleaner (special stuff that leaves no residue). Apparently this helped the contacts in the switch to close properly and the door was able to reset and work. Good luck.

SOURCE: drivers side window switch not working on 2005

the drivers door switch is most likely bad, they get used the most and wear out first, the connector on the back of switch may have come loose and not making good electrical contact, remove switch and check connector and if still not working need new switch, the windows are all on same circuit and either all work or none work so not fuse. extremely rare is a short in wired but not likely.

2001 mazda 626 battery drain

If the headlight switch is turned fully to one side, it will keep the interior light on. Some models have the feature in the overhead light, that allows for 3 positions to be set. Position one lights the dome light when the door is opened. Position two keeps the Domelight on regardless of the door. Position three is the always off setting.

If the problem is not in the headlight switch or the Domelight settings, then check your rear Cargo door. Some even have a separate switch to turn on the interior light from the Cargo area so you can see what you are unloading.

If you find that none of the above solutions work, then you must have a doorjam switch that has come apart inside the doorjam. These are a bit more difficult to find because each must be removed without losing the wiring in a hidden area. But start with the Drivers door as it gets the most wear.

He could try to unsnap the light lens and remove the bulb. If you have underdash or door lights it may provide at least some lighting and you could do without the Dome light.

Gas door won't open

FIRST: try using the gas release lever from inside the car with the driver side door closed. My 2006 Jetta gas release lever would only work if the driver door were shut and I pulled the release from the inside car interior. Turns out it was a severed door wire (NOT THE RELEASE CABLE). Thus when the door was open, it stretched the damaged wire and so none of the door controls worked unless the door was closed. ie windows, trunk release, and gas release. It was a $600 repair at the dealership, parts and labor! :(

The inside lights wont go out

Currently having the same problem. The battery finally drain, That because I had or still have problem with driver side door closing. Before I gave up on it the solution was to close make sure the all doors were fully close. Then light goes off. There's switch on the door that's grounded into the car frame itself. Open/close.. should not be a big deal to fix that's why I didn't bother really taking up on it.
