1. if not already done, set the parking brake.
2. turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
3. turn cruise control on
4. turn cruise control off
5. turn cruise control on
6. very rapidly push the RESUME button four times and then hold for four seconds on the fifth time.
7. oil change light should clear.
8. the time the cruise control is turned on for the second time to the time the fifth activation of the resume button is held down must be within 6-7 seconds, if not you must repeat the process.
This procedure is correct. The only additional step is that the doors must also be closed before starting the procedure. I am an International diesel mechanic and I use this quite frequently rather than connecting the ServiceMaxx electronic service tool. You will see the wrench on the display turn off first, followed by the change engine oil light turning off a few seconds later.

Turn on the ignition switch without starting the vehicle and mash the accelerator to the floor 3 times slowly and this should reset the change oil sensor.

if your truck doesnt have the driver info center, you can reset that by turning the key to run with the vehicle not running and push the gas pedal to the floor and let off 3 times but must be done fast

With all doors closed, put key in ignition and turn key to first position only, and fully depress and release the accelerator pedal 5-7 times. Pedal must be pressed all the way down and fully released these 5-7 times. I hope this helps!

This is part of the new Allison Prognostics. It's very similar to the oil life monitor on the new cars.
The way to clear the filter light after the filter is changed is to:
Turn the ignition on, but do not start the truck
Next move the shift selector in this sequence, N-D-N-D-N-R-N, do not stop the sequence for more than 3 seconds once you start.
This should turn off the filter light.
