there is two sets of fuses on this car i think. The centre console lights are on fuses inside the car under the dash, is your interior light not working either?
a relay in most cars should be under the hood. the fuse is usually on the drivers side under the dash in a black box. in my Taurus that's where mine are.
Sounds like a relay has blown. The relay is located in the fuse box under the dash or in the engine compartment. Both the fuse boxes should be labeled so you can locate it. If not, the owners manual should have a diagram for the fuse box under the dash. If its not the relay. the wiper motor needs to be replaced
There is a brake light switch that ,disconnects the cruise control, when braking, this maybe the problem, even if the brake lights work fine, the switch still could cause this problem, replace the brake light switch.
Fuse is marked "ASC" 10A Speed Control (passenger compartment fuse box), most likely this will not be the problem, and if th fuse blew then there is a short and it won't work, the most common cause is the cruise control switch circuit.
cruise on a ford escort?? not fitted to europeon model thats for sure. All fuses are in the fuse box above left knee ,unhook the fuse box and let it drop to get at relays.
