Not necessarily the MAF sensor. I'm having same problem on my 02 GTS. Replaced MAF, IAC and no vacuum leaks. No codes no engine light. So if you find out the problem please share it here so I can try it with my car.

A no-start condition can occur with several different symptoms. Have a clear understanding of which one applies to your vehicle when having the problem diagnosed.
The timing chain should not routinely need changing, but perhaps the tensioner does. Try first to eliminate any other causes, like the bearings in the fan, drive belt idlers, or alternator. A useful tool is a long screwdriver which you can apply to the various areas while placing your ear to the top of it while the motor idles. Be very careful to keep clear of moving parts like fan blades.
Mass air flow sensor. Its in the intake ducting, clean with CRCelectrical cleaner from parts store. Wash sensor with spray only, No rubbing brushing or compressed air. jut the spray.
nothing try back flushing heater core, they clog up due to litle water preasure,you might want to flush cooling system if you already havent, hope this hleps.
