This seldom works, and the reason is because the radio system and steering wheel controls are monitored and operated by the Body Control Module on the 5 volt Can Bus System. When you connect your new Android box, the computer won't have a clue what is going on! Be prepared for a whole heap of trouble.

Someone has probably wired into the system for speakers, amps or something electronics and there is an electrical short (or ground) somewhere that is causing it. Trace all non factory wires and make sure they are not touching metal (grounding) anywhere.
