I would get a hold of someone in Ford customer service because you should have a 3years or 36,000mile warrenty on this car and you should not be having all the problems you are having I am a Ford man and I have had 6 taurus myself and never had any of the problems you are having and mine have all been bought used with previous owners. this is something I would like for you do for me and let me know open the driverside door and look at the build date and if it is somewhere around a holiday this maybe your problem cause at that time everyone is thinking about celebrating and not thinking about the quality of their work.
If you believe it genuinely happened at the oil change center, then I would tell the manager or boss that they have to repair it by law without charging you a single penny. good luck
