SOURCE: need a wiring diagram for a chevy s10. brake

your power starts at the brake light fuse, check with a test light, then proceed to stop light switch on brake pedal under dash, one wire will be hot when when you check it with your test light, the other won't be until you press down the brake pedal then the power flows through to the second wire,if no power to second wire replace switch,if you have power remove tail light bulbs and check for power in side socket.

I have 4 codes that came up on my 2005Chevy impala, PO 128,PO336,PO38,and PO 386can anyone tell what these are?

P0038 - HO2S Heater Control Circuit High Bank 1 Sensor 2
P0128 - Coolant Thermostat (Coolant Temp Below Thermostat Regulating Temperature)
P0336 - Crankshaft Position Sensor Circuit A Range/Performance
P0386 - CKP Sensor B Circuit Performance.
your most likely need to replace the crankshaft sensor and probably will take care of the 0336 and 0338 codes.
you then need to check your coolant level, if low fill and look for leaks, if not low, most likely replacing the thermostat will correct other two codes

Codes read PO335, PO304, PO336 i need to know what they are for, Please !!

304 is misfire on cylinder #4. #4 is the middle cylinder on the driver's side.
The other 2 relate to the crankshaft sensor:

P0335 Crankshaft position (CKP) sensor -

possible causes: circuit malfunction Wiring, CKP sensor, ECM

P0336 Crankshaft position (CKP) sensor - range/performance problem
possible causes: insecure sensor/rotor, air gap, wiring, CKP sensor

Is the car running? If yes, check for a loose connector on the crank sensor. You may need to take the connector off and see if there is any corrosion on the terminals. If yes, do your best to clean with a small screwdriver and/or electrical parts cleaner.

From what I can tell, the sensor is on the bottom of the engine near the idler arm, but it has a long pigtail such that the connector is on top of the engine by the fuel rail. See pictures below.

for the misfire,

Please see my tip at http://www.fixya.com/cars/r6715318-causes_gasoline_engine_misfires . These are generic instructions. If you get stuck or need specific instructions for your car, please get back to me with model, year and engine info.

Codes

I punched in code po336 for a bing search,
and it says that it could be
PO336
Crankshaft Position Sensor Signal Range / Performance
But it may be for another car.

What was your engine size and submodel? My reference on the Internet didn't have fault codes for your vehicle.
