Sunroof moves maybe a half of a centimeter before stopping.
Mine did the same thing...took me 8 years to figure it out without having to pay for a repair at a shop. When it lifts the centimeter on its own, push up on glass with your hand with moderate pressure till it frees up, then just push the button towards the rear of the car and it should open the sunroof completely! How i now have to open mine but its awesome after 8 years and Ill work with that...
I have the same problem with the same car.. and yes push the button you can see it move slightly then push up on the glass towards the back of it to pop it up the rest of the way.. push the button again and it will slide open.. it should slide closed easily.. I don't always have to use this technique each time I open sunroof if I use it two or three times in a day it seems to work but pushing the button just once. please rate my answer.. thanks hope it helps

the multi-center display (clock, radio display) is on the cigarette lighter circuit i believe it is fuse 12 in the fuse panel on the left side of dash by the door.

The sunroof motor is right above the open/close button inside the headliner. You are going to have to remove the headliner to replace it. Just a couple of screws and a connector from there.

Does the sun roof do anything whebn you press the button. if not, check your fuses and the sun roof switch. If fuses are good you want to check to see if the sun roof motor is getting power. If it is getting power it could be the motor itself. If it tries to move but can't then you have a mechanical problem. it might be binding so try giving it an assist by pushing on it when pressing the switch.
