I have a 1995 dodge neon, it starts fine but once it has been running for 10 or 15 min it starts to chug and almost sounds out of time. the first code i got said it didn't maintain idle speed, the second code said it skippe a tooth with the timing. we just replaced the timing belt so i was wondering if anyone has heard of this and what i should do to fix this?

SOURCE: Timing
Here's a link to info to read & shed some light. Basically you want to remove covers & inspect belt & make sure all marks are where they should be, as far as timing goes. If it's all where it should be, then you may have to look into other possibilities. If it's not, I'm pretty sure that's an interference engine, and big damage may have occurred.

SOURCE: 1995 dodge neon stalls when air conditioner is turned on
turning on a/c should automatically increase the idling, so that's where your problem is. need to look at the system where the throttle is open a bit when a/c is turn on

My Car was doing the same and found the solution and some good tips at this website.

SOURCE: 2003 Dodge Neon: P0016 (already replaced sensors, belt, tensioner
the computer may need to be reflashed. if it is running then it is not a bad sensor. either of those being bad would cause it not to run.
