My 2002 dodge caravan sport is in need of pads thought I had time, but the break to the floor board doesn't stop vehicle. My break fluid was low and I could hear sounds of air every time I break. Now I...

I believe you have drum brakes on the rear of your Caravan, & it sounds like you have a wheel cylinder leaking, it will have to be replaced. This is what it looks like. Parts & labor to do a rear brake job should run around $220.00....Shop around and get a few estimates. Good luck, i hope this helps.

I have a 2001 DodgeGrand Caravan.I amtryingto wire for my trailer. I have turn signals, running lights but no brake lights. Need to know which wire to hook yellow left side and green right side and also...

use test light. With taillights on, probe the wire the lights the test light. That is for your brown wire. With left turn signal on, probe for that wire. That would be for your yellow. Repeat for the right side for your green.

Clicking, sticking sound from front end, drivers side

It is your cv joint that is bad. If you jack the van up on that side, check to see if the boot is ripped...and more than likely your cv joint is about shot...even if the boot is intact.

The cv joint is bad....

Power steering and brake line location2002 Chevy Silverado 2500HD

the power steering lines are very short hoses approximately 8 inches long that go from the power steering pump down to the steering box, which is located on the frame, just below the pump. The brake lines run from the master cylinder(where you fill it with fluid on the drivers side firewall) down to the frame, and then follow the frame both directions; both to the front end and the rear end, along the drivers side frame rail, just on the inside of it. The fuel line runs along the same path to the rear.

Emergency brake on a 2002 Caravan

There should be a cable running underneath the car along the rear axle from one wheel to the other that connects to the cable running to the front emergency brake handle.

Follow the cable until you find the adjustment screws and turnbuckle on the cable.

Loosen the screws holding the turnbuckle tight.
Adjust the turnbuckle until the cable is tight.
Test the brake handle and readjust if necessary.

Some cars have auto adjusting rear brakes which will sometimes re-seat by running in reverse and pushing on the brake several times. Try this first!

If none of the above works, you will have to take off the rear wheels and adjust the brakes manual at the wheel hub.
