Question about 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee
When I drive my jeep ,does not show the speed in my speedometer
An expert who has achieved level 3 by getting 1000 points
Redux. no response from OP!
so now just 1 question
does the odometer work or not.
answer that and magic can happen.

In the old days speedometer use to have cable today's cars n trucks have a speedometer sensor on the out side of the transmission there not hard to install just google on line it tell how n where it is good luck

last cable was wrangler 93.
if his odometer works then
the head is bad.
but speed inputs to the head are used by both functions,
the Grand Cherokee, is first made, 93
and free of cable to head.
born all electric.
btw my innova scan tool scans 93-95s.
and can see if the VSS is bad.
but tools cost money,

your speed sensor is on the side of the trany just go to you local parts house and look at the sensor you'll find it . it's realy that simple . hope this has been helpful to you !

it could be the sensor you should look at the oil pressure relief valve

Check:
- Fresh Air Intake Hose:
Clogged or Damaged FreshAir Intake Hose.
- Carburetor:
Worn, Faulty or Damaged Carburetor.
- Mass Air Flow Sensor:
Damaged, Loose, or Faulty Mass Air Flow Sensor or Circuit.
- EGR Valve:
EGR Valve Sticking Open/Leaking.
- Idle Air Control Valve:
IAC Valve Sticking or Faulty.
