No relay in the circuit.
There is a delay module but if it fails that usually causes the wipers to stop in the middle of travel or only run on high.
And the switch is working if you hear noise coming from the motor. The wiper switch is not the same switch as the turn signals but it is near that assembly.
I would say if you have power to the wiper motor the motor is probably dead or something happened to the linkage to the arms.

Having windshield wiper/washer problems? Here are some more common problems.

  • Motor:
The wiper motor is commonly replaced and was often not the problem. Don't replace the motor yet. maybe it's not the motor. It could be a fuse or something at the wiper switch. The wiper motor has two windings, fast and slow. The wiper switch sends a ground signal to each motor winding. More often, there are problems with the relay, or at the wiper switch, or in the cable to the motor.
  • Windshield Washer:
Don't be too quick to replace the washer pump. The problem is often just a clog in the sprayer heads. You can clean out the sprayer holes with a needle, some have two holes, so look closely. Hope this helps.

Pull the fuses and check the socket for power on the things that don't work. If there is no power at the fuse box there is a good change the stater igintion switch is toast. it is located on top of the steering colunm under the dash.usally less then 20 bucks All that you mentioned get power from this switch that goes to the fuse panel when you turn the key on

If your car is under 36000 miles take it to your dealer and have it fixed under your warrenty. All of your interior electrical systems are controled by computors and sometime not a simple repair ! The dealer has the tools to monitor different switch states to aid in isolating the problem. Just guessing if its a switch or a computor or a wiring issue can get very costly.

SOURCE: wipers turn signals and ac/heater not comming on

looks like they are on more than one fuse. your passenger compartment fuse box is down below your dash panel on drivers side between brake pedal and left side kick panel. the heater a/c fuse is a 25 amp fuse, should be fuse 6. the wipers are fed through a 4.8 amp circuit breaker which might be in the same fuse box, or not. your car also has a power distribution center under the hood. if you don't get anywhere with the fuses in the passenger compartment, look in the power distribution center. chrysler doesn't always share lots of info and i can only look up part of the wiring diagram. can't find anything about turn signals, my guess is that fuse is in power distribution box. hope that helps

Wipers only work on slow intermittant

front or rear, guess front... gee?
you meant fails only on high and fails means dead, rigth, not slow on high or some other odd effects. like noise. chattering or ?
what does it do on high , i guess sits still.
the wipers can be slow. if the motor is weak.
fail to return
make noises. or jam.
Q1:" do the washers work

2004 WJ
there are 3 things, POWER< CONTROLLER and MOTOR.
the first question here, is this computer controlled (eg BCM)
answer: YES, the BCM does keep alive. (more later)
is there a relay?
answer yes.
the control has 10 position.. off 1....9
so intermattant 1 to 5 work, you never said that.
at pos. 6 is low, works.
at post 7 high its dead. it turns on the HIGH wiper relay in the PDC
so that is dead,
my guess. i use meters to tell me facts but if i hand to guess
it be the HIGH relay blown.
if not its the H tap pin on the motor bad.
or wires to same.
the wiper motor can be hot wired to test it. easy
pin 6 on the motor connector is hIGH./

if how ever the high starts the wiper moving and then dies
then the PCM keep alive feed is dead. or wiper on./off is dead.
but the other work, so id skip this.

try to say exactly what happens on high. (DEAD?)
OR MOVES AND STALLS.? O short strokes.?

Working on a 2000 jeep grand cherokee. front wipers do not work. fuse is good. have power and ground at motor. 2 new relays in onoff and highlow cavities. new wiper switch at colomn. what am i missing?

If you have power to the wiper motor and the motor will not come on then your wiper motor is bad. When the wiper switch is off their should be no power to the motor. When the wiper switch is on, power is sent to the wiper motor and the wiper then turns on. The relay is use probably to control the wiper speeds you select. I hope this helps.

How do you troubleshoot wiper blades on a 1995 Jeep Grand cherokee?

First check the wiper fuse then check the relay by turning wipers to on position and listen for the relay to click if it clicks its good.If they are good then turn the ignition and wiper switches on and check for 12 volts at the wiper motor. If you 12 volts then the wiper motor is faulty.Replace motor.

I have a 93 jeep cherokee that for some reason the wiper motor will not work can you help

Check if there is power going to the wiper motor when wiper switch is turned on,you can use a multimeter or test light,if not check fuses, wiper switch and wiring.
If there is power at the wiper motor, most likely you need a replacement unit.

Im having problems withmy wipers they dont start i think it can be some kind of relay problem but dont know where

use a test lamp to check for power ..check to ensure fuse is not loose or blown and possibly if it s intermittent wipers the lever could be bad if you have power there to the wiper motor and the fuse is good most likely the wiper lever is gone you will need to replace it they are best from a junkyard about 50.00 or 195.00 from a dealer plus installation fees but ck for power 1 st

Can`t find the breaker for the wiper motor on my 2002 jeep cherokee

The power distribution center is on the left side of the engine compartment near the front. The wiper relay is in there and it could have failed and not the fuse. The wiper fuse is in the same area. You can substitute the wiper relay with another one that has the same part # in the dist. center box. That is if the fuse is good. Lastly, don't assume the fuse is good when you look at it. Test it with an ohm meter or use a known good or new fuse.
Good luck, Rudy
