Take a putty knife and slide it under the front of the cover to release it from the area behind the back seat and pull it forward. Then twist the bulb holder out of the cover. The bulb pulls out of the holder . Replace bulb and reassemble.

My 2002 Ford Focus brake lights stay on in drive, cruise control doesnt work and the hatch button in car doesnt work. I noticed the middle rear brake light is also out.

If you brake lights stay on and the cruise control doesn't work then I would be looking at the brake light switch at the top of the brake pedal as if there is power passing through it then it cuts out the cruise control. The same as if you put your foot on the brake cuts out the cruise control. The hatch button will be another problem like a fuse or broken cable or failed latch solenoid. As to the rear middle brake light try checking the bulb first.

Brake lights not working on 2003 E 350

Have you checked the fuse for the brake lights and have you checked the brake light switch.
The brake light switch is directly above your foot when it is placed on the brake pedal.

Right brake light is out and don't know which bulb to change

Have someone apply brakes. Observe which bulb lights in the left light housing. This is the bulb you want to replace.

Panel light burnt out 2002 Avalon

Remove lower dash panel, remove screws holding cluster to top of dash, remove middle dash panel around steering wheel. this will expose additional screws holding cluster in place, when all screws are removed the cluster will move forward a bit. THEN you must reach behind and release the speedo. it wil either be plugged in or a spring clip holds it in place. push the spring clip toward the rear of the vehicle, while keeping no tension on the speedo cable, while it is fully depressed, gently and firmly pull the speedo cable away from the cluster. Two harness connect to the cluster, each has a pressure clip, just squeeze and pull back on harness connector to remove. When released the cluster will be freed. With the cluster face down, the bulb with remove with a counter clockwise turn, just confirm whcih one you want to change. I'd recommend changing all! check that all bulbs fuction before resecuring all pieces.
