Yes i would say your steering box is bad.

Very possible bad head gasket and fowled out plugs and/or O2 sensors. Remove spark plugs and check condition of them and pull O2 sensor to see if it is green from antifreeze. Good luck.

Probably will. The models really changed significantly in 1993. Models for 1984 to 1992 were pretty much the same. Suggest you measure everything on both to make sure. They are not hard to remover/replace.

No, just remove the glove box and then the plastic cover behind it. Once the cover is removed, you'll find your heater core.

ok we know your not responable for any car stolen in your area. around your steering wheel the are screws that hold on the cover. depending on the make and modle you might need star shape or allen wreches. remove this. then you should have a screw or pin or something holding the igntion in place. remove it. then take a flat head screwdriver and turn it forward. this should be no problem unless there is some kind of anitheft or alarm on it.

Have you tried turning the wheel, then turn the key? Turn it to the left, try to turn key, if no good, try turning wheel to right, then turn key. There may just be pressure on the steering, not allowing the key to turn. Hope it's that simple. Let me know if it works.
