If the engine will not crank, and the battery is charged, you would need to know if the starter is getting power from the battery and from the key switch thru that neutral safety switch.
Have you checked the starter power yet ?

SOURCE: my car won't turn over, everything works, but doesn't make a noise when I try to start it

Go under the car and see if you have 12 volts at the purple wire to the starter solenoid when the key is held to crank position, the wire may be broken or the starter solenoid is defective.

SOURCE: my asb light comes on when starting and stays on. Lights won't come on , power locks won't work, power windows won't work, radio won't work. All fuses are good and car runs fine.

Those are all really common symptoms of the alternator going bad on those cars. I would have it checked to make sure it's charging properly.

93 suburban starter won't crank. new starter new switch nutural switch ok still nothing. can jump starter & it works

You either have a bad ignition switch (on the steering column) or a maladjusted switch. Another possibility but not too common is a problem with the wiring where it passes through the firewall. Not common but I have seen it happen.

2001 s10 will jump start. After it sits, I try to start it, it won't start, but the ignition keeps dinging after I turn it off and take the key out. I can jump start it and the dinging stops.

its sounds like a bad ignition switch-try to jiggle it and see if its stop after you have turned key off- also those dinging sounds are to warn you that you have left something on -usually headlights or maybe even your dome lights which would account for your battery dying

I have a problem with a 2008 Dodge Charger, my battery went bad and I had to jump it off to take it and get a new battery put in but now my new battery won't start my car not even when the new battery...

When you jump started the vehicle, it started as normal and you drove to a shop to have a new battery installed.?? Correct??

1. Who removed the old battery and installed the new one?

2. Did the car start normally immediately after the new battery was fitted? How frequently were you able to drive the car on the new battery before the problem you described appeared?

3. Has anything been done to the vehicle since the new battery was fitted.?

2003 lexus es300 won't start... radio lights and windows work. Tried a jump start, still doesnt work...

Are you saying the engine cranks but won't start, or the engine won't crank ?
If the engine does not crank, you would check for voltage at the starter, the neutral safety switch, and the key switch as well as the ground connections.

2005 Altima won't start, hear clicking sound coming from fuse box,key stuck in ingintion, won;t turn over, tried to jump start.

the clicking that you hear is coming from the starter relay. sounds like your ignition starter switch or ignition lock cylinder is bad.

Pickup starts great, goes into all gears but won't move. It's like it is still in nutural.

Assuming the pickup is an automatic, check the transmission fluid. The #1 cause for transmission slippage is lack of Automatic Transmission Fluid.

If the pickup is a standard shift, the pin that connects the shift to the transmission has likely broken. You would still be able to shift from the inside but the gears won't engage. A bad clutch is also a possibility but you would have noticed a burning smell prior to the clutch giving out.
