Replace seat belt retractor

These are just regular shocks and not struts so they should come out with just common tools. You may need to soak the fasteners in penetrating oil for a while or, use heat tget the fasteners to break loose from the corrosion.

You may want to check the relay that goes to the primary window. This will provide support to all the other windows. However, it may not just be the window relay, it could possibly be that between your window relay and your main switch there is a short or cut wire that is causing this problem. Unfortunately, you may need to visit your Ford Dealership to run a diagnostic on your wire or if you know an electronic shop that can run one to see if it is receiving and sending power. Have them check the main door fuse and window assembly to see that you are getting power.

SOURCE: 2005 Sport Trac Cruise Control does not engage
If you can please look under the hood and find the Air filter, and follow that all the way to a round metal part (Throttle body) If you can see it there will be a coil,and on that coid will extrude a curved plate with a cable(throttle cable) attached to it running all the way back inward toward the back of the engine, and next to that there should be a second cable (crusie control cable). This cable is pulled on when you engage the cruise control, by a black box next to the fuse box.
If the Cruise control cable is near by try to reattach it and if it is damaged then have your dealership or some one mechanically inclinded to replace the tip ( if plastic) or replace the cable.
If that didnt help please get back to me

Buy a manual and read it. The manual will tell you how to replace...
Please check if your seat belt has "Retractors" or "Automatic Retractor".
Follow these steps to determine if you have a retractor system that will hold car seat securely or your seat belt won't retract as should be:
A. Pull belt all the way out.
b. Allow belt to retract about 6 inches (15 cm).
c. Pull out on belt again.
If belt is locked and you cannot pull the belt out any further, you have an Automatic Locking;
If you pull the belt again all the way out and won't return to normal operation, then the mechanism is damaged, but try first the "retractor" lock to be sure. By Federal Law, nobody will sale a seat belt in a junk yard, try the dealer or order thru the dealer the whole seat belt or the mechanism. I hope that is just a matter of the automatic retractor; you can see this information in your car's manual. Try and we will see.
