Get a tool from the parts store called a slimjim.. its a thin long metal bar that has notches in one end..it will fit between the weather strip and the windowglass and allow you to "trip" the door latch to open the car door(just like car thieves do!) and then you can acess the door panel to fix those pesky handles..

My drivers side rear door will not open from the inside or outside

I had exact problem Santa Fe 2007 2008 lock was stuck in locked position and door would not open from inside or out. All other doors would unlock with auto key remote. Carefully work the inside lock towards the open position as you lock and unlock the door with the remote. As you press unlock try to assist the lock to open. I did this a few times and the lock became free to the open position and all worked perfectly after this.

How to replace a door handle on a 2007 hyundai sonata,

our question is vague. If you must replace the exterior handle only, Point 7 in Prakash's excellent answer is enough.
Tip: to repair a broken exterior handle: fill both sides of the broken handle with metal reinforced epoxy like KwikWeld, then push nails (heads clipped off, 4 or 5 cm long, 1.5 or 2 mm diameter) into the small part (over half the length of the nails will stick out), then put the handle back together and wait. The nails will reinforce the epoxy and you'll have several cm of metal totally filling up the handle where it is broken.
