My 2001 Dodge ram 5.2 318 I have the check engine lightcoming on and off and the abs light and brake light also come and go. When the lights are on the cruise will quit now and then and the speedometer will shoot up and down. Also on right hand turns the truck occasionally stalls but will start right back up.
See if you can find out if there is a code for the check engine lite and the abs, those can be related if the speed sensor located on the top of the rear axle is intermittantly failing. That sensor sends the speed signal to the pcm and the abs controler witch will also turn off the cruise control.
to do it again, replace the IAC motor.

chyslertech could the speed sensor also cause the stalling?
I won't disagree with chryslertech, but, it seems weird that all these things seem to happen together from the way you describe it.
I will also agree to see if there are any codes. That would be the first step to glean some info from.
It sounds like a bad ground bonding wire somewhere is either corroded, loose, or broken. I am going to guess it's one in the engine compartment or underneath the vehicle, but it could be inside the vehicle as well.
See if your local library has the Factory Service Manuals (not Motor's, or Chilton's, or Haynes) for your vehicle. These will give you location of ground bonding straps, diagnostics, and possible repairs for your vehicle. Also check if there are any Technical Service Bulletins for the problem.
