SOURCE: where is the petcock located on a 1999 oldsmobile

Most are difficult to get to and so many don't work correctly that it it's almost silly to even use it. Far easier is to simply remove lower hose from radiator. It works better and faster. Just be careful though...Don't do hot or you may get an unwanted scalding bath!!

Is there a radiator drain plug or petcock on a 2009 Chevy Traverse?

no there is a drain , its just towards the center from the bottom outlet hose , it doesn't look too much llike a drain , as its black and is down inside a well (this guides the coolant out) the well is about 3/4 inch deep and the drain plug turns via a tiny wing nut

How to drain radiator

On some radiators there is a drain petcock. It will be located at a bottom corner of the radiator. Some drain out the back, others the bottom. If you don't see one, don't worry. Many vehicles do not have a drain valve anymore. You will need to remove the lower radiator hose on these to drain to radiator. Be ready for a mess.

How to drain radiator coolant

Radiators usually have a valve/petcock located on the engine side of the radiator down at the bottom. Valve turns like a bolt and antifreeze coolant will drain out into your drainpan. Use care as coolant is poison and needs to be disposed of properly. After radiator has drained, retighten petcock and fill to the appropriate level.

Radiator drain plug

I didn't get much out of the video. If the radiator has a drain valve it will be on the bottom of one of the tanks.
Not all radiators have a valve. You have to remove the lower radiator hose if no valve exists.

Radiator drain plug how do i open it to drain the radiator

You don't. You never open the petcock on radiators with plastic tanks because the petcock always breaks. If it doesn't break, it'll leak when you close it. No pro ever uses the petcock. You loosen the lower radiator hose clamp and yank the lower radiator hose. You'll take a bath, but it'll all be drained in about 1.5 mins. Then reconnect. You'll actually drain far more coolant that way too.

I can not fine the plug to drain / flush the radiator on A 1994 jeep cherokee

THE RADIATOR DRAIN TAP "PETCOCK" FOR THE 94 JEEP CHEROKEE IS ON THE PASSENGER SIDE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE RADIATOR - THOUGH TO BE BRUTALLY HONEST YOU WOULD BE BETTER JUST REMOVING THE BOTTOM HOSE TO DRAIN THE RADIATOR AS THE TAP/PETCOCK HAS A TENDENCY TO SNAP IN THESE OLDER MODEL JEEPS - IT DID WITH MY 96 JGC & IT COST ME A NEW RADIATOR TO THEN "FIX" THE PROBLEM.

Where is the drain for 94 oldsmobile cutlass cierra? I am trying to drain the antifreeze and don't see it

it's there, on either one the left or right corner-they don't use petcocks anymore, it is a black plastic screw in plug-you need to get on your back and move under the radiator and it is usually on the passenger side corner of the radiator.

Where on the radiator is the drain petcock 2004 gmc sierra 323? Does anything have to be removed to get to it?

Some models do not have a petcock, pulling the lower radiator hose will suffice in drainage. I suspect you know what you are doing since you have the correct nomenclature. Use extreme caution during this type of draining procedure when coolant is hot. If it is not on the lower left or right corners of radiator side facing engine, it is not equipped with a drain valve.
