Have a Honda accord 2.0i 1992 (right hand drive). Where is the ECU located please as I need the numbers to find a replacement. Have had two suggestions of looking under the drivers seat, nothing found and also under dashboard on right hand side, found cruise control unit, but still cant find ECU. Thanks
The ECU is located on the passenger side floorboard underneath the consold and carpet

Please try to locate the ECU--- The ECU can be located in several places: under a metal plate in the passenger's footwell (models up to 91), in the passenger's footwell behind a plastic panel (models 92-99) or by the driver's footwell under a plastic panel (some models 2000+)

The engine and transmission computers for the your accord is located under the carpet of the passenger side floor/foot rest area. Remove the carpet, which may require loosening the door jam or trim areas of passenger kick panel. Once the carpet is pulled back you should see a large (and you'll find out soon, quite heavy) "bash" or protection plate. This can be removed by extracting the fastening screws to the plate and moving the plate to the side. There are two or three plugs in each unit.
Depress the center of the tab and pull away from the unit. The transmission computer is the one with the prefix part number "28100" and the engine controller has a prefix of "37820".

have you looked under bonnet or passenger footwell/glovebox or cntre console area at front there the usual places.
