do a stall test, like start engine let it run then hold the brake pedal with your other foot raise rpm to put load on engine if you feel the hesitate then it could be spark plugs wire or injectors
hope it helps
running rough, could be a few possible things besides spark plugs, and wires! air filter, fuel filter, fuel injectors, fuel pump, coil pack, Etc. Id start with the air and fuel filters! Good luck, Hope this helps!
You problem is most likely a bad spark plug wire or spark plug. I would start with the wires and then chenge the plugs. Most likely you have a wire shorting out under load.
I had the same problem on my 1999 century and it was cured after replacing the wires. My 1998 Regal GS was running rough and after I replaced the wires it runs great!
It is a 3.1 6 cylander
is it a 4 cylinder?
