A fusible link is a wire designed to burn out if too much voltage for a component it is wired to travels through the circuit. You have to buy the same gauge fusible link to replace the one burned out. cut the old one out and simply splice a new one in using high voltage splice connectors. As for the fuse ..check under the hood and replace 1oo amp fuse.. You may have some difficulty getting it out if it has melted badly.. just take your time and note how the fuse is installed.
Clip the wire on both ends of the fusable link then and new fuse

The 100 Amp alternator fuse is blown under the hood in the fuse block,
it has a clear plastic cover on it for inspection, the designation is
marked inside the fuse panel. This fuse is bolted in inside the fuse
box, the fuse box has to be removed and opened to get to the bolts that
connect the fuse in.

Use a small thin blade screwdriver. Gently pry off where the small slots are located.
