Security code for my 1999 acura TL stereo system

You need to contact the dealer.

your book should have a security code in it that you can put in after starting your car- after numerous times of failing with a code tho- the security will lock- unplug the battery and try again. i had this happen with my 98 acura tl 2.5

on the TL - 5 digit code for the radio; 4 for navi; numbers are typically on a sticker on the side of the glovebox (nearest radio) or rear truck arm (great security acura?). Need to unplug the antenna and then put in the code, reconnect the antenna and your back in business. search the net to learn how to access the back of the radio. typically needed after power is lost to the vehicle, new battery installed, etc.

hi, this a very common problem that everyone gets when they have either had work done on the car witch involved removing the battery or if the battery has gone realy flat.
The problem is the only place you can get the code from is the main dealers this is due to the fact that its a security feature to stop thieves stealing your stereo and selling it on so to get the code you need to take the car and the owners paper work and also some id to your nearest main dealers they will then give you the code you need and they wont charge for giving you this.

Im sorry their is no easy fix to this but its just to ensure thieves dont nick your stereo and then sell it on with the code so to combat this you can only get the code from the main dealers with the correct documents.

go to dealer bring your cars reg and id and they will give you the code,

there is a security code that needs to be entered. it should be with the owners manual. i have a saab and the security code is on a card. just enter the code and your stereo will be operational.

it's the top number on the sticker on the inside of the glove box.

take the fuse out of the alarm, connect the battery and then replace the fuse. Let me know if that helps. Thanks!
