Will not start after changing battery i put new battery in and it still want crank or nuthing the inside lights want even come on

Check your starter relay in the fuse box

what crank or cranks but will not starts.

check fuses.
check battery lugs for green corrosion. clean them.
charge the battery
get it up to 12.6vdc reseted or more,.

if you parked it for 30 days with a load on somewhere
the battery may be now toasted. (sulfated bad)

Are you pulling the arm all the way back up. If not, the ignition is still on and you could be draining the battery. also check the alternator, they can short out on the inside. The solenoid is on the right fender well, do you have the single wire on the correct post

Look for a blown starter fuse or fusible link in your underhood block. Also look for what made it blow.

More than likely the charging system is not working and allowing the battery to run down/low. Put a voltmeter on the battery and raise the engine about 2000 rpm and the battery should read 13.5-15.5 volts with all electronics on (fans switch on high, flashers, wipers, headllights, defrost etc). It should also read about 13.5 volts at idle but may not depending on the load from the accessories and voltage regulator. Most important is that it will read 13.5-15.5 volts when the engine is at 2000 rpm with the accessories on. If it does not read in that range the charging system(alternator most likely) has a charging problem.

did you buy the correct battery for your car the right cranking amps?

well if you have a dvom/voltmeter check the power at the starter terminals. the main terminal should have power all the time the key wire should have power only when the key is turned to crank engine. if you have power at both then i would start looking at grounds

did you try replacing the starter solenoid?

First if brake lights arent working then the shiftlock wont work. Works off of same circuit. I would check fuses for brake lights and also horn. Not exactly sure on the 92's but good chance theres fuse's inside car and also under hood.
