Check out the induction coil fuse plus wiring if it has got damaged while replacing the plugs, coil, etc, since current is not reaching the plugs to initiate the firing .. sodeep

SOURCE: 1990 Acura Legend, location of main relay for fuel pump

looked it up online, looks like its in the underhood fuse box but couldn't get a good diagram that shows which relay number it is. the website i use is sort of dependent on the manufacturer, apparently acura did not feel like sharing that info. hope that helps

You'll need to replace the distributor as an assembly, they are a very common problem and sold at any good local parts store fairly cheaply. Remove the cap first to note the position of the rotor. The distributor only goes in one way, but it's easier if you know which way to point the rotor when you install it. It's a good idea to re-time it after the install but if you mark the location of the old one, you can get pretty close if you put the new one in the same spot.

Take off the hose to the throttle body and look for any obstructions. This has been know to cause performance issues similar to those described

My car won't start I have changed the coil fuel pump fuel pump relay and the Mfi relay I now think its the crank shaft relay but I do not know help me !

Sounds like maybe the main computer is bad. When you cranked the engine there is not any indication that it is firing. If you have changed the fuel pump and coil and it still wont even fire, the computer is most likely the cause. Even if the timming was off you would still get some indication that it was trying to start although it probably would not if the timming was off, but the fact it's not even trying to fire yeah that's my take.

1991 honda accord starts intermittently. When it doesn't the gas guage goes below E. Gets spark, no fuel. Already changed main relay.

Hey man if you already changed out the relay i would try changing your fuel pump and sending unit that should stop both of your problems.

1991 f-159 4.9l cranks but won't start fuel pumps in both tanks loud

fuel pump should only run for about 15 seconds when u first turn the key on now you should check to see if the fuel filter is clogged or your sending unit might be bad on the fuel pump itself

There are two basic reasons for not starting - no spark or no fuel, both of which are controlled by the ECM. You need to check error codes and these items - for the spark, test it at the cylinder 1 sparkplug; for the fuel check the pressure (if too high or low, problem!).

Fuel pump won't run unless engine is cranking, but won't start

Are you sure it's running when cranking? It should have come on when key turned on.
This is for camrys up to year '91. It may apply in your '95, also. Check the 7.5 amp ignition fuse and the 15 amp EFI fuse and the EFI main relay, all located in the fuse box next to your battery. There is also the circuit opening relay tied in to fuel pump operation. It is usually found under center of dash. It is usually not the problem, but it is part of the checks for fuel pump operation.
If your car has a " check connector" or "service connector" (also called a fuel pump check connector) under hood on driver's side near the firewall (a little 1 inch cube with a cap on it), then bridge terminals +B and Fp with a jumper wire. Turn key to on (don't start car). The pump should come on. Listen for fuel return noise from the fuel pressure regulator, and verify pressure in hose from the fuel filter. If nothing, check those fuses above. Here is how power runs to pump: Battery to 40 amp main fusible link-to 15 amp EFI fuse-to EFI main relay-to circuit opening relay-to fuel pump-to ground. Ignition switch and the computer (ECU) work the relays to pass power to pump. Hope this helps some, Randy. Good luck.

How do you test the fuel pump relay on a 1991 Toyota Celica 1.6 Car just died and won't crank. We changed the ignition coil and still won't crank. Fuel pump is working. Toyota place does not check...

If the car will not crank then you have a battery, cable or starter issue. If the car will crank but not start then the problem may be the fuel pump relay. There should be an electrical diagram on the side of the relay. Apply 12v to either side of the coil and you should here a click. Then check for continuity between the other two terminals with voltage applied. If you have no continuity then the relay is bad.

Try replacing the main relay. It controls your fuel pump and it is known to begin to fail in high temps. It is under the drivers side of the dash behind the kick panel.
