Acura Legend Idles very low and then it turns off

Hi I have a 1993 Acura legend the problem with it is that  after a boost it turns on but unless i dont keep pressing gas it will turn off. I put a new battery, it stayed on for five minutes without holding the gas pedal then it idled very low and it eventually died. the car runs great but as soon as i let go the gas pedal it will die. I am guessing its the alternator if anyone know the solution to this problem please let me know. any help is greatly appreciated. thank you

the onlie last thing is to replace the thermostat. check the heater core/radiator.

My 93 acura legend wont start. Ticking sound??
That sounds like a dead battery. The ticking sound is the relay (a type of switch) which enables power to the starter motor when you turn the key. If the battery is weak, the relay will click, but there is not enough power to turn the starter motor.

I just bought a 1993 used Acura Legend and the stereo doesn't work, I need the stereo code.
I got the code from Acura, but they wanted the serial number off the back of the unit. I have a Cl and the facia comes off from the front. My old legend and accord had two phillips screws that you could get to from the back and slide the unit out.

Should be a small connection with a plastic screw on cover. There should be a high pressure and a low pressure connection. Make sure you use the low pressure one. You can follow the line from the compressor towards the firewall and should see the connection.
