Aux power/ cigarette lighter fuse blew, need to know the location of the fuse.

your best bet is to turn your key on and check all of the fuses with a test light if you have a blown fuse you will have power on one side and nothing on the other side of the fuse ,some fuses will show nothing on either side that might be a spare fuse or a circuit not turned on at the time

with a test light and the ignition key on test these two fuses. on the little metal that sticks out on the fuse on both sides please test both sides.

The fuse for the cig. lighter will probably be located in the underhood fuse box, when you remove the cover look on the inside of the cover to see where the cig. lighter fuse is located. Check to see if fuse is blown and replace as necessary. There is a small possibility that the cig. lighter fuse is also used on another accessory circuit, so check to see if there are any other accessories that are not working too.

if you look under your dash on the drivers side, you should find a little door or hatch. after you open it look on the back of the door for a diagram of the fuses...one should be labeled for the lighter, or accessory power outlet. use a pair of needle nose pliers to pull the bad fuse and push in the new one.

it usually runs on the same fuse as the radio & interior light which is the accessories fuse, if these two things still work you may have another problem with the wiring,you might need to pull the lighter out & check the wiring.....hope this helps.....cheers
