It is the blower motor resistor. Look under the passanger side dash and locate the fan housing (looks round and black in color. Then locate the resistor it will be in that housing usually withtwo ten millimeter nuts or two simple screws holding it in. unplug the harness to the resistor and remove the resistor. Part store price is approx. 50.00. Note: on aftermarket (not Jeep) resistor sometimes you have to modify the housing a little to get it in. Hope this helps.

I have the same problem and replaced the resistor. Still won't work but the motor is not locked up. Wiring didn't seem to be melted.???????

2002 jeep liberty , heater blower resistor i know was going bad , cause it only worked on setting 4 , but now its not working at all , its not blowing out period . so could it still be the heater blower...

maybe check the heater fan motor by hooking it direct to power and if it blows full power then it has to be the resistor or maybe the switch for the speed control is burned up.

We have a 2002 jeep liberty. The heater and defrost only works sometimes what are some possible causes.

If you mean that the heater "fan" only works sometimes, there is heater blower resistor mounted to the heater motor, (behind the glove box) and if it goes bad, you normaly have high speed only. These are common to go bad, and not expensive.

My Jeep 2003 Sport, heater only works on #2 &

You heater only works on speeds #2 & 4 because the blower motor resistor pack is defective. Replace it.

2004 jeep liberty heater fan works on 123 but not on high

What do you mean you "went through a car"??? Did you crash???
Generally one speed being "out" is caused by a burned out relay or resistor pack. Check those!!!

Heater core on a 2003 jeep liberty limited

sound like th efan is not working, not the heater, acceleration cause the air to move through the vent, so if the fan is not working, there is nothing to move the air, even the heater is working.
