2007 chevy colorado. Auto Transmission clunked during a couple of shifts then will only drive in second gear. Limp mode?? Has reverse, will drive in 1, 2,3, and d but in second gear. Got codes checked came...

Seam like transmission fluid is low.
-Start the engine, let it run for 10 minutes to normal temperature . Do not turn it off and check transmission fluid. If it's low add more fluid to full indicator. And try again.

Good Luck

I have a 2006 Chevy Colorado..Check engine light on and code 171 came up. Oxygen sensor replaced as was gas cap..Still on..What else needs repairing to fix this??

Trouble Code: P0171

Fuel Trim Too Lean

Possible Causes:

The current cell can be observed using a scan tool. The system will go lean if an injector is not providing enough fuel.A lean condition could be present during high fuel demand due to a fuel pump not pumping enough fuel, plugged fuel filter or a restricted fuel line.Insufficient fuel in the tank or low fuel pressure may cause this DTC to set. Refer to Fuel System Diagnosis .Review the Failure Records with a scan tool. If an intermittent condition is suspected, refer to Intermittent Conditions .

MY 2005 COLORADO GAS CAP LIGHT KEEPS COMING ON?

Have u replaced the fuel cap? They do go bad often. Other then that you are probably having a issue with your vent valve, most common thing I've seen on all Chevy trucks..

My 2011 chevy colorado 5.3 engine seems to be running very rich jet black tailpipe, poor gas mileage

Do a pressure check from the fuel rail. It could be your pressure regulator starting to go bad. Is normal for Chevy and GM.

Chevy Colorado - diagnostic says "PO455 Evap Emission Control System Leak" Not sure where to look or fix

Code P0455 means there is a vapor leak in the fuel system, this could be a bad vent valve, a abd purge valve, a charcoal cansistor, gas cap or even one of the lines. this requires a scan tool and a smoke machine to find the leak. but in most cases it is just a gas cap. take off the gas cap and look at the rubber seal, if the seal has small cracks, or the rubber seals looks like it is worn. try replacing the gas cap and clear codes and see what happens

Gas cap off and engine light came on in 2006 Chevy Colorado. Replaced gas cap now how do I get check engine light off?

If all it was is that you did have it off it will reset by the 3rd drive cycle. It may take between 50 & 200 miles.
