95 jeep yj wont start

check the sending wire to see if you have a bare spot
if you don't know where the sending wire is we don't know either
as what year
model

It is not recommended, the tank should be replaced.
The Jeep undergoes vehicle crash studies for safety to insure passenger safety. If you modify or do patch repair on the gas tank it could cause a fire ,explosion or worse in a impact/collision..
You should be able to find a used gas tank from a salvage vendor and just inspect the tank very well before installing it.

Check the fuel for a presence of water. I'm sure there was a recall notice on the gasket on top of the fuel tank where the sending unit mounts. My YJ sat for a year and had water in the tank from this leaking. Drain and drop the tank, replace the gasket, and reinstall.

im not sure what part A<B<C is, a fuseable link, is my guess

when it does not start you need to verify no fuel pressure, Most likely your problem is the wiring harness is bad which will destroy a new pump if the pump is not geting the voltage required.

the fuel sending unit is probably stuck and need to replacing. common problems to many older vehicle it tend to read sometime correctly and sometime not at all. the sending unit will be in your gas tank.

sounds alot the the pcm it controls the fuel pump and ign system but the anti theft would keep it from starting because the key has a transponder in it programmed for that vehicle and that would kill all ign if triggered

Check your engine to see if ,it has a yellow or blue spark and if it does then check your fuel filters and fuel pump to see if they are working or not.

U are going to have to replace the fuel guage sending unit in the fuel tank, there is no other part that will cause this problem

1.If the needle on the guage is stuck. you can try tapping the guage to see if the needle moves or turn the ignition on and off a few times to see if you can get it to move. If the guage drops to empty when you turn off the ignition you know that its not the guage. (note that the guage does not drop to zero when ignition is off with all cars of this age).

2. The problem could be with the sensor in the fuel tank itself. Rocking the vehicle up and down from the rear (you will need help doing this) may free the sensor level indicator ball in the tank.
