206 wont go over 2500 revs - 206 Peugeot Cars & Trucks

is this gas or diesel,,, one of these is yours, and we cant guess it.
what country, this can change what EFI car uses. if any.

to work on any car engine, whats under the hood(bonnet) counts.

Have the fault codes read Replace the faulty units with genuine one because most aftermarket units are not set
for OEM cpu units and are not completely compatible

May not be getting enough fuel to the engine

could have restricted air filter or exhaust system has restriction, your turbo charger failing.

Is the check engine light on all the time or it is it off?

I know same problem happening in another Peugeot was told he has a tubro problem but his check engine light is on all the time but accidentally it goes off sometimes for few days.

Do you see alot of heat/air or smoke coming out when you open the oil chamber?

Probably oil leakage going to a sensor?

Anything to do with the pistons seals?

no check engine on possible fuel pump problem or converter plugged check airfilter and exhaust if the gas is escaping

at 2500 revs, there are several if not hundreds of possibilities. I recommend you have an OBD analysis done.
