Starter motors are always found somewhere around the perimeter of the bellhousing, usually on either the left or right side, on lower part. Starter always has a large wire connected to it the same as the one on the battery. If you already have the new unit, look at the mount holes and use that as a reference on where they are on the one in vehicle (also check for any top or side brackets). Sometimes starter has to be manuvered out from between other components. If impossible, then anything in the way must be moved. Always disconnect the battery before working on starter. Make notes on where wires are before removing them, and put them back the same way.
