I am having the same problem and have already reset the relay. Someone said it is probably the main relay computer of the car??? What did you determine was your problem? They sound the same. Does anyone know how much this will cost? My car is 87 Ford Mustang 5.0

Ok on this model this the fuel pump relay - cooling fan relay are in an integrated control module on the right front fender well - it looks like a box with about 12-15 wires going to it ... Pull the box out and check the green wire with the yellow tracer to see if there is power coming out when key turned on .. If not check to make sure the box is getting power - it's a light blue wire with and orange tracer - that wire is the power wire from the junction box on the left front fender .. If no power on the light blue with orange tracer - the wire is shorted and most likely cut around the left front fender area from stress and vibration ...

2001 mustang, 3.8L, engine turns over but will not start. what are the most probable causes.

#1 fuel pump. #2 bad fuse. #3 bad igntion coil[s]. You should be able to hear the fuel pump turn on when you first turn the key on [ not to start]. then check for blown fuse.

I HAVE A 2001 FORD MUSTANG GT THAT WON'T START, I ALREADY REPLACED THE FUEL PUMP AND FUEL PUMP DRIVER MODULE, IT HAVE SPARK AND CURRENT GOING TO THE FUEL PUMP BUT NOT GROUND OR PULSE TO THE INJECTORS

Before you go any further open the trunk and check the fuel pump roll over valve switch, mounted on the left side inside the trunk, push the switch down and try the vehicle.

2002 Mustang GT.No fuel pressure at the Schroeder valve. How can I confirm it is my fuel pump? The pump assembly is expensive & I want to confirm it is the pump.

You can check for power at the connector for the fuel pump while cranking, if you got power but no fuel you have bad pump. Also have a friend crank on the car while you bang the bottom of the tank with a rubber hammer, sometimes it will jar the pump just enough to get it running again.

Fuel pump will not turn on i just changed it and it still will not turn on

Check the fuel pump inertia switch. If you hit something or something hit you, this swich turns off power to the fuel pump. The switch can also go bad and the pump won't get power. Check around the kick panels and trunk for the switch. If you can push it down, then it was triggered.
