1990 Dodge Ram Wiper not working

1- Checked fuse ok. Replaced it just because. Did test new fuse ok.
2- Checked grounds to body seems good. Ran heavey ground wire from battery neg. to wiper motor housing clean area.
3- Turn on wipers, can hear a click under dash, turn switch to low speed here another click. Wiper motor does not run, tried nugging linkage nothing...
4- Voltage test, i have 12 volts going to motor, two wires coming out of motor lower housing where wire harness plugged into. Wiper motor did get warm to the touch, was not hot.
4. I think its the motor, but not 100% sure.

You did everything else. You have voltage going to motor,so I would say that was it.

Sounds like it would a issue around the motor to arm assembly.Maybe a adjustment.Pull both wiper arms off...then move them down.Try them again...Then adjust if needed..

I have a 1998 dodge ram van, the windshield wipers stopped working, the fuse is ok and the washers work ok. all other functions of the switch work properly. How can you test the wiper motor and wiper

Make up a set of jumper wires that will accommodate the wiper connectors and run an auxiliary ground wire to be sure it is not a ground problem and then jump power directly the power lead connectors on the motor.

2000 dodge caravan wipers dont work. I ran hot wire to wiper motor, it works. I have power at wiper switch, but not sure which wires to check

Heres a wiring diagram, this sounds like it may be a wiper module or a bad body control module, you have checked all your fuses and i assume they are good, heres a diagram to help you .afccff5.gif

The wiper controls are not working but the other controls on the modual still work

assuming the fuse is good, you can test the wiper motor by applying ground and 12v from the battery directly to the wiper motor. ensure you have the correct terminals on the motor for ground and power. there will usually be 2 or 3 power terminals and 1 ground terminal which has a black wire connected to it. the other terminals are for the different speeds and supply different voltages. you can connect to any of these wires. if the motor works then the switch is bad.
