Question about 2002 Audi A6

Need Help A.S.A.P Please!!! 2002 Audi A6- CVT transmission

I bought the car in 2008 and the car jumps right before Driving. It does that when its warmed up 10 minutes or so. I had an oil change and the mechanic said it seemed as if the car had never gotten a oil change. What could it be? Do I need a new transmission? If so, e-mail me if you have a transmission for this car or a solution of what it might be...2002 Audi A6- CVT Transmission, V-6 3.0 engine. Thank you for your time and reading :)

cv transmission use a special transmission oil specifically designed for cv transmissions. any other type of atf oil will destroy the transmission quickly
contact your service dealer to get the correct oil or if you do not wish to pay audi price there will be other manufacturers that make the oil for audi, mitsubishi, honda etc all of whom use cv transmissions
there are to many people on forums who have used the wrong oil ( atf) in the cv transmissions only to have them fail completely inside 20000 klms

What type of oil is put in a CVT Audi transmission box dealership is killing me
I went google and came up with the following recommended oil
castrol transmax A cvt

there is a penrite site that has a special oil for Audi CVT transmissions and no doubt there will be other sites for Mobil , shell and others

Would 2002 audi a4 has ECU or CVT problem would it still pass the smog check?
Yes because the vehicle has Catalytic converter on it which is what catches the gases not the ecu

Help with my 2002 Audi A6 ASAP
It could also be an ignition sensor, mine went out and the car kept misfiring. Once I had it replaced that took care of the misfiring issue.

I was driving my audi a6 quatroo on a hill and it stopped ...showing me the oil light red on the dshboard, it would not start again...please help! thank you
You need your oil changed, as well as new filters. Contact a mechanic ASAP.

2002 audi a6 transmission is in safe mode. What
hi, what it usually mean is that you have shifted down in to a lower gear whilst the revs where to high so then your gearbox goes into safe mode to protect it from further damage the only way to reset this is to take the car to a main dealers and have a diagnostic check done.

This is a manual transmission? If so the clutch probably needs to be replaced. When you say "VIOLENTLY" what is going on, what is the road speed, what are the RPMs at? The more specific information the better. And this problem ONLY occurs between gear changes, right? The other times, everything is normal?

I have an audi a6 2.5tdi v6 multitronic automatic 2002 when I put it into Drive the car moves but judders, vibrates loudly and doesnt change gear
Ouch, I suggest you check the fluid level of the transmission. If the fluid is OK, you need to ask around about a good gearbox repairer.

Changing the downstream oxygen sensor on my 2002 Audi A6 3'0 engine on the driver side discovered the sensor has six wires instead of the four on the one I purchased. I called the part store they said it is to have four wires looked at the sensor on top which has four wires, is it possible for the car to operate with the sensors placement wrong.
