SVC light is on - 2000 Lexus LS 400

Not sure about SVC but Trac off refers to traction controll being off.

Your onboard computer is letting you know that it has detected an electrical problem in your four wheel drive circuits that requires attention. It could be a loose wire, or corroded connections or a switch gone bad. I'd check the connections and wiring first.

Have to Google your OBD Codes to find out

If the warning light is on, either someone did not clear the codes, or the problem still exists.
An auto parts store should be able to scan the computer and turn off the light.

You should go to any autoparts store and have your error codes read. THEN you will have a place to start looking for the problem.

Hi, check all tire pressures, they need to be as close as possible to what the door panel/jam list for recommend inflation psi. If not this service tire monitor will light on dash.

Questions:
1. Which lights flash on and off?
2. How do you know alternator stops charging?
3. Who/Which Svc Dept. installed new gen alternator?

Step 1: Go back to shop/garage/svc department which installed new gen alternator - TELL THEM IT DIDN'T FIX THE PROBLEM!

You are describing an ELECTRICAL EFFECT... the CAUSES can be many!... not exclusively the alternator.

Unfortunaltly you can't turn the light off unless the repair is made. It is a safety feature. And yes, the little monitor inside the rim has gone bad or cracked. These are easily replaced by a tire technision, but the cost of the (TPMS)tire moniter is pricey.

U can take the vehicle to an Auto parts store and they will check for stored codes and go from there. With the gas gauge it could be fuse or sending unit.
