Can't find the transmission dipstick

There should be a dip stick where you pull it out to check your fluid level of the automatic transmission. You check it while the car is running and in park and warmed up. To put transmission fluid in, you would get a funnel to fit the opening of the dipstick hole. First take out dipstick, place funnel into the hole and pour the fluid into the funnel. Depending how low your level is, it will not take a lot to bring the level back up to normal. Pour some in and check level. DO NOT OVER FILL!

The Transmission has a check plug and a fill cap. The check plug is located just under the passenger side axle and has a 11 mm head on it. The fill cap is on top of the transmission just underneath the air cleaner box. the transmission must be ideling in park and be warm to the touch , not hot or cold. Fluid should drip from check plug when full.

Transmission fluid is added through the transmission dipstick tube. Use a long, fine neck funnel in the tube to minimize spilling fluid everywhere.

on the passenger side, down near the bottom of engine compartment, you'll see a small yellow loop handled dipstick. that's the trans dipstick. ok assuming its an automatic. manuals don't have dipstick, it has a fill plug on the side of transmission

you may not have one it could be a sealed transmission

Check your engine and transmission mounts .

Hi blanchard71. My name is Greg. I have a 93 also. The dipstick is right in front, toward the driver's side. My dipstick happens to be very loose, I hope yours didn't come out by accident and is gone. That would let dirt and other stuff get into the transmission, NOT GOOD!!! I hope this helps.
