There has to be a gasket failure somewhere..doubt if the truck has a mechanical pump on it but if so equipted the pump diaphram has failed and is pumping raw fuel into the engine block.. replace this pump and the issue should go away...most pumps were mounted in the fuel tank and are electrically operated..so it may be a tbi gasket failure or line leak somewhere check all and repost findings..thnx

Well, I can tell you that white smoke is usually a sign of water being burned in the cylinders and a blueish color smoke is usually a sign of oil being burned. I would drain gas, replace fuel filter, and do an oil/filter change as well but replacing the injectors probably won't do much for you. I would make that one of the last things to do. You may also want to add an additive to help "dry" the fuel system as well.
2000 Chevy blazer doesn't have a carburetor. It's multiport/sequential port fuel injected.
Your injectors look like a spider inside the intake manifold. If they are not delivering fuel, that assembly needs to be replaced.
That's a pretty big deal. Need to replace a few other gaskets as well since other components will be pulled.
Yes but the spider is under the manifold... Pull your oil dipstick, if your oil smells heavy of gas, then the spider is busted. If not. check the big plug on top/center of your engine for dirt/moisture
Check the oil, smell the oil,to see if there is a gas smell to it,if so,the injector spider, has a broken injector line. The intake will have to be removed to replace the injector.
If it's a "W" VIN (8th Digit) check the spider injector on the intake manifold. Throttle body will come off with the intake cover, ten 10mm bolts, and two 8mm holding the fuel lines in place. Once you move a few things and lift it off. (and unplug the big plug in the top that actually goes into the spider injector, about 12 prongs on it). Gently pry the spider out of the cradle on each side and squeeze the tabs and pull out each of the 6 injectors. If you take your time a novice can do it in about an hour.
spider injection is a common problem with these vehicles, is it consuming gas more than usual, is the oil smelling like gas? The spider is located under the upper intake plenem. There is also a fuel pressure regulator connected to the spider assembly that may be faulty.
The 93-94-95 all have this problem ..the fuel line that come into the back do split and leak ..other problem is with vaccum lines coming off the back of intake and vacuum lines come apart from a 3 way fitting.located fire wall .when these are off will cause gas smell and bad millage .... hopes this helps...
