Jeep will not start, gets fire to coil, but when cranked does not. Any ideas? We have tried changing coil, crank sensor, new computer, distributor, and checked all relays and fuses. Still will not start. Jeep ran great before we changed transmission. We crushed crank sensor on bell housing and now will not start.
Check to see it maybe a head gasket .mine was
Lets go to he connector at crank sensor check harness where it connects real good for damage or cuts, check and see if fuel pump comes on when the key is in the on position for 3 secs.make sure you have fuel at fuel rail .
You may have bent the flex plate ring.so it might be to far away from the crank sensor air gap.

had the same problem with my 5.2,it was the 2-wire temp sensor under the back of the air conditioner pump, pull on the wire and see if it is corroded off.
