SOURCE: engine light was on and engine idles rough.

these O2 sensors are cat convertor check sensors. id be checking cat convertors and hopefully you should try replacing if not all ready is the front bank 2, O2 sensor
if you have scanner can you see fuel trims in data display to confirm high fuel trim only on bank 2 either +-5 or more indicates problem and if bank 2 sensor 2 has fixed high 700mv reading cat no good(warm idling)

It sounds like it might be your throttle position sensor. Is your check engine lite on?

SOURCE: 991 Isuzu 2.6l petrol runninf problem!

I realise you have probably solved this problem by now so sorry for the late news mate . Had a similar prob and it turned out to be an alternator malfunction . I replace the brushes and off she went . These things send voltage from the alt . to a fuel pump relay or whatever so the pump wont run if the eng isn't (or the alt isn't outputting any voltage.) . Hope you already had it sorted . But I hope this helps if not . Cheers Simon .

it's the EGR valve and can be fixed by anyone. It involves disconnecting the battery, remove electrical connection, and removing 2 screws and cleaning the surface area well and replacing it as well as the gasket. A new EGR valve runs around $120 and trust me you can fix this and save hundreds!

Why does the engine revs drop too low and sometimes stalling when I engage any gear?

This can be either an engine management issue (bad idle air control) or a transmission issue if an automatic trans (torque converter lock up problem). Idle air control can often be cleaned so = cheap fix. Trans problem not so easy.

My 2003 rodeo sometimes will idle erradicly and stall is this a computer issue or just dirty petrol

I have reviewed your problem and have the fallowing for you to aces.
I have had 2- Rodeo's first was a 4 cylinder, and the one I am driving now is a 4 wheel drive 6 cylinder.
Both have given me problems with engine stalling and rough idling.
I have also found problems with the check engine light.

Things I have found to cure problems.
First, after 75 or 80K, you will need to change and service several things.
(1) EGR sensor, this unit sits to the rear left side of engine and will greatly contribute to poor idling and a computer, check engine light from time to time. This unit cost about $95.00 and autozone will warranty for life. The unit is easy to remove and replace, it has 2- bolts and a 4 or 6 wire plastic connector on it top.
(2) You fuel filter, this unit is located under the drivers side door and is also easy to remove and replace. Cost about $15.00.
(3) Last, fuel pump, now my last Rodeo had bad fuel and I had to replace the pump and that is a job and a half.
The fuel pump is located in the fuel tank and the tank will have to be dropped, to replace it.
I was able to pick up a used pump at a local junk yard, because of the price and availability. You may have to buy from dealer.
Hope this information has been of good help to you.
Have fun. P.S. My first Rodeo blew up after 227K and the one I am driving now has over 140K.
