There is a fusible link for the blower motor. Check that. Don't know where it is. Look up the wiring diagram at autozone.com. Also check the fuse in the fuse box. Could just be that.

Based on the information you have given to this point, I am just going to give you a few possiblities. Have you had a tune up done recently? Air filter been checked or changed? I am not in any way trying to sound sarcastic so I apologize if I come off that way.Those would be my first things to inspect if I were ask to look at your car. I would also check fuel pressure and inspect the fuel pressure regulator.I would consider these things and go from there. The starter motor for your Oldsmobile is mounted at the front lower part of the engine, just behind the radiator.
Book time to replace by an experience person is 1.1 hours.
If you are looking to do this yourself, disconnect the battery negative terminal and isolate it.
Remove any covers or braces in order to access and remove the starter.
Remove the wires to the solenoid on the starter, then the bolts retaining the starter to the engine.
There may be some shims between the starter and the engine. You may need to replace these with the new starter.
