Front heater motor only works on high speed, lower speed have nothing and the A/C will not come on unless the motor is running on high. The rear blower works fine. Checked all the fuses and all are good. Thanks..
THERE'S A SENSOR UNDER THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE CAR UNDER THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT YOU HAVE TO LOOK WAY UNDER JUST LAY DOWN ON TOP OF THE MATT IN FRONT OF THE PASS SEAT IT HAS 2 SCREWS ON IT UNPLUG IT THEN UNSCREW IT TAKE IT TO THE DEALER IT COST ME ABOUT 30 TO 50 DOLLARS BUT THAT WAS THE PROBLEM I HAD. GOOD LUCK
Probably your blower resistor has gone. Try checking passenger side firewall under hood, up under cowl, is a usual place for them. Will have a connector on it, and about 1-1/2" x 3" in size.
HEATER BLOWER MOTOR
Its
faulty blower motor resistor. The low and medium speed on blower motor is
controlled by resistor and its actual speed is high. So because resistor is not
working, blower motors actual speed which is high is working.
It
can be faulty blower motor or faulty blower motor resistor. Get the blower
motor inspected. If it's faulty it has to be replaced.
