I have a 1996 Chevy Tahoe. Just put in a new computer system on it. Now the shifting is messed up. What could be causing this? Shifted fine with the old brain before I changed it.

The new computer may have been downloaded with different shift points from the factory. Make the computer is set for the same transmission.

HAD TO REPLACE THE DISTRIBUTOR ON MY 1998 CHEVY TAHOE AND STILL WILL NOT START.

You may have set the distributor in correctly. Not starting is most likely caused by the points within the distributor. These points need to be adjusted. Check out youtube with the question "how to set points on a distributor"? Hope this helps.

Po 751 code 99 tahoe

The solenoids are located in the transmission. There is one for the 1-2 shift point, one for the 2-3 shift point, and one for the 3-4 shift point. You have to drop the transmission pan to access them.
